SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed with regard to the high quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider place made for intervention activities a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it click here tricky to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
